Personality

Jamie easily blends in with humans. He keeps adjusting himself to the time era. He knows how smartphones and tablets work and what boba is. His posture sometimes betrays that he used to be a noble. He can be a controlfreak and a perfectionist because he holds himself to high standards. That can sometimes make him snappy. He just wants to get the best results, especially when it comes to music. He likes using his time efficiently.Jamie is sometimes slightly arrogant. Blame his age and time era. He used to struggle with expressing his emotions because they used to be numb but thanks to therapy they’ve returned. Jamie is still in therapy to work on his emotional well being and learn how to cope with his trauma, although music helps him a lot as well. Intimacy is still an issue for him but with the right person, he will learn to let go of his traumatic past.Jamie is a professional singer and producer. His voice is pleasant to listen to and is described as the voice of an angel with the growls of a demon. He produces nearly all of his music himself. He’s also a skilled guitar player, producer and loves to game. Cooking is also a new hobby of his. Technically he doesn’t need to consume human food but his body doesn’t have any issues with it.Jamie is very stubborn when it comes to moving to LA. His label has tried requesting him to move to LA due to the fact that the music industry is mostly located there. Jamie refuses to leave London and has stated that LA would drive him crazy and ruin his creativity longterm if he lives there. He’s occasionally there if there’s no way to record things in London.

Background story

Jamie was born and raised as a noble, although he had a rough start in life. He has a mixed background and is part Asian due to the fact that his father fell in love with a woman who was considered “below his rank”. This partly caused Jamie to feel like an outsider because people treated him differently due to his background. That he’s also bisexual didn’t help him in the slightest. He would become the next head of the family until he got himself in trouble. One night he ran into a vampire while he was attending a card night. The man didn’t need to do much to call on to Jamie’s darker side. The vampire dazzled him and subjugated him.Soon enough he became a darkling, a human who’s half-turned. His master used him as a blood bag and sometimes fed him a little amount of blood to keep him loyal, not that it was needed in Jamie’s case. He hadn’t been planning to leave. His family thought he was dead after finding a body in the water a few weeks after he disappeared. It was unrecognisable so everyone assumed it was him. He was free of his duties since then.Eventually his master decided to reward him and turned him into a full vampire, although not traditionally. Alexei used some vague, forbidden ritual, which makes jamie different from the standard vampire. Alexei taught Jamie how to be a proper vampire before they parted ways. Jamie left his clan due to abuse and is a victim of SA by his creator. He ended up hating Alexei after he misused their sire bond. He left the clan by basically massacring the whole clan on his own due to his rage, wiping the clan off the map. The clan is labelled as the lost London clan. Most vampire clans are aware of the London massacre but aren’t sure who did it.Present Jamie managed to become a professional singer and producer. It’s a position that he has earned. He recorded a demo for funsies and send it out to a few labels. Eventually he got offered a record deal. Jamie now has a steady career and is well known. He’s a household name and can easily demand things in the music industry due to his influence. Alexei carved demonic runes in Jamie’s back before he turned him by ritually sacrificing him. The carvings turned into scars over the years and Jamie got them tattooed over. They’re barely visible these days.Jamie doesn’t remember much of the ritual but remembers the excruciating pain and that he had been in contact with hell for a brief moment.
